Policy statement

 

Our Aim:

 

To enable Thorpe Acre Preschool Playgroup to operate efficiently and effectively, we need to have supporting,  dedicated and enthusiastic committee members.

 

Procedures

 

To achieve this, their roles will include:

 

  • To attend committee / AGM Meetings when arranged or at least 3 times a year.
  • To support the chair in making decisions which will affect the running of playgroup
  • To help with fundraising events
  • Liaise support and work with the setting, registered person and chair.
  • To support them in progressing the setting towards Every Child Matters.
  • Be a part of new Staff interviews.
  • Be aware of Playgroup policies and be involved in the process of reviewing and updating them.
  • To be willing to be checked by the disclosure and barring service.
  •
