Latest News - Summer 2018
The children during the Summer term have been very busy doing lots of interesting and exciting activities. Over the past few months, we have been enjoying many experiences relating to the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
We have made our very own 'greenhouses' and have enjoyed watching our very own beans grow. We also planted our own 'cress heads' for Understanding the World, and looking at growth, decay and changes over time.
We also celebrated the Royal Wedding with the Infant School and have been sharing the story 'Dear Zoo' all together; allowing us to explore different sizes for Mathematical Development.
We have also been enjoying looking at the lifecycle of Butterflies, where we watched our very own caterpillars grow and change; shared stories such as 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' before releasing the butterflies in our garden.
Finally we also enjoyed visits both from ZOOLAB and Lion Learners, which allowed the children to get up close to lots of different creepy crawlies.
We also said goodbye to all our school leavers at our end of term party. We are so very proud of everything you have all achieved over the past year and will miss you all greatly.
We are however really looking forward to getting to know all our new starters and the wonderful new experiences and discoveries we will share together over the next year.
We hope that you all have a very lovely Summer.
